Ry's new thing is sounding out words and writing them down. His interpretation of "ambulance" is a little off, but I'll give the kid points for creativity.

Invented spelling is A OK and is expected and encouraged. He is waaaay ahead of a certain Kindergartener who is still mostly getting just the consonants of the first 2 syllables down. Go Ry!
