Love You-Ou

Our fantastic friends came down from upstate New York for a weekend of fun. Friday night we walked into town for pizza and the boys talked us into shoulder rides. Luckily there was a nice flowery backdrop to take my mind off the sharp pains shooting down my shoulders.

We came home for a group bath. No words needed, just take it all in.

The next morning was Cole's first day of T-Ball. The kid's got a great arm, unfortunately he sometimes wears his glove on the wrong hand. Give him time.

While Phil took Cole to his game, the rest of the gang went to the library. Jim found this puppet and chaos ensued.

Last stop on our adventure was The Please Touch Museum. By this time, Graham had totally gotten the hang of the Kerper boys and dove right in.

Charlie stopped to take in the sights...

...and we found this adorable little baby in the faux Children's Hospital.

Everyone passed out on the ride home - three cheers for a job well done. We miss our buds already.

St. Rebecca

This Saturday we went to the Delaware Museum Of Natural History to check out their tarantula exhibit. I'm not sure what was freakier: The exhibit itself, watching Charlie bang on every cage while I pictured the spiders escaping through the broken glass, or Phil sneaking behind me to tickle my neck while screaming, "TARANTULA!!!"

Ry was, in a word, impressed. He ran from cage to cage to read the information, then raced over to me breathless with fun facts. He kept asking to get his picture taken with every spider - here he does a Dr. Evil impression without even knowing it.

Charlie on the other hand - not so impressed.

This picture doesn't really have a story behind it - Phil snapped it as we were leaving and Cha seems to have a "come hither" look that I thought was funny.

As I look ahead to my life with 4 boys, I forsee many more of these types of outings in my future. Between spider exhibits, wrestling matches, and bodily functions...I figure I'm headed toward sainthood for sure.

Serious Business

You wouldn't know it from the serious looks in these pictures, but the boys did have a good time at the Delaware Children's Museum.

As I mentioned previously, I'm trying to let go of my ongoing hair battles. Ryan, however, is not making that easy for me.

C'mon boys, lighten up!

Wrangler

Phil ventured out to the Delaware Children's Museum with the 4 kids. It's pretty cool to see Charlie start to come into his own and hang with the older boys. He's even starting to perfect his wrestling moves, but here they calmly craft.

The poor ballerina in this video is so graceful and elegant...quite the opposite of the Kerper kiddos. At least Cole is trying to keep up with her moves - Ry on the other hand is trying to karate chop her in half.

It's not an easy feat to wrangle four kids ages 5 and under at a museum. Phil said all of the moms kept coming up to him oohing and ahhing over his mad parenting abilities - smooth moves Daddyo.
